  • Watermelon is the official state vegetable of Oklahoma. (Their official state fruit? Strawberry.)2 
  • The Watermelon Board notes that the world's heaviest watermelon was grown in 2013 in Tennessee — the Juice Plus+ home state!3 (P.S. Tennessee's state fruit = tomato. Y'all come get some.) 
  • Watermelon (Citrullus lanatus if you're feeling fancy) has some relatives you've probably also met, including cucumber, zucchini, and pumpkin. 
  • Watermelon is about 92% water.4 That means it also
